Be Concerned traces its beginnings back to 1968, when volunteers helped 30 Covington families with holiday food and repaired toys in a project named the Christmas Store. Held each year since, the program grew steadily through the years into one of the largest holiday assistance programs in Northern Kentucky. The 54th annual Christmas Store in 2021 provided 3,897 people in 1,450 distinct households with food, cleaning supplies, and hygiene products, and 727 children from those families received new toys.

We find ourselves blessed each December with full shelves of items donated from our many generous supporters. You can help us fill the shelves each Christmas so the children of Be Concerned families find gifts under the tree and our families have the basic necessities that would not be there without your donations.
