Andy Brunsman, Executive Director
When you meet Andy, you will quickly realize you are talking to someone that is going to change the world. He has an energy level and “can do” attitude that inspires you to want to be a part of whatever he is doing!
One of our favorite phrases he will often say is “we will find a way to yes.” That sets the tone for how the organization operates every day. His passion and focus on the mission have resulted in his receiving a variety of community awards in the region including his induction into the Cincinnati Business Courier’s 2020 Forty Under 40 class.

Andy’s fourteen-year career includes experience with four local nonprofits including Our Daily Bread, Ronald McDonald House, Welcome House of Northern Kentucky and his current position as executive director here at Be Concerned. Andy became executive director in May 2014 after joining the organization in August 2013 as marketing director. Andy is a graduate of Mt. St. Joseph College in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Savannah Maynard, Programs and Services Coordinator
Savannah began her time with Be Concerned as an intern in 2023. She was hired as a full-time staff member in June of that year after completing her internship and graduating with her Bachelor’s of Social Work from Northern Kentucky University.

Paul Gottbrath, Grants Director
After nearly ten years as a volunteer and board member, Paul became director of Be Concerned in January 2009. He retired from that position in April 2014, but remained with the agency as part-time development director. Paul is now leveraging his organizational knowledge and writing skills as our part-time grants director.

Paul was born and raised in Louisville, and earned a B.A. from Bellarmine University there. He worked for a variety of newspapers for thirty-two years before joining the nonprofit world.
David Laake, Business Development Director
Dave started with Be Concerned in May 2020. Prior to coming aboard, Dave worked as the homeless services supervisor for Directions for Living in Clearwater, Florida. Dave also worked locally as a homeless program coordinator for The Center for Independent Living Options in Covington, Kentucky.

Dave graduated with a sociology degree from Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
Dan Clifford, Operations Director
Dan started at Be Concerned in December of 2018. He has previously worked as a service provider for other organizations such as Welcome House, Volunteers of America, and Camelot Therapeutic Day School.

Dan is from Chicago and received his Master’s degree in social work from Aurora University in Illinois.
Raymond Rowe, Warehouse Director
Raymond joined Be Concerned in December of 2022. Raymond’s prior role was a delivery driver for Master Provisions for the past two years.

Raymond currenty resides in Walton, KY with his wife and three children. When Raymond is not at work he enjoys fishing, travel and video games. Raymond is also a Baltimore Ravens fan, but we won’t hold that against him. Raymond has always had a passion for giving back and is excited for his journey with Be Concerned.
